Richards Middle School Orientation
Middle School orientation is open house style. Please arrive anytime after 2 p.m. but before 4 p.m. to allow enough time to complete the orientation.
8th Grade - August 14, 2-5 p.m. (Please arrive no later than 4 p.m.)
7th Grade - August 15, 2-5 p.m. (Please arrive no later than 4 p.m.)
- Students will:
- Tour the building
- Receive class schedule
- Take school picture/receive ID and more!
- Parents/Guardians are welcome to stay if they would like. This is not required.

Students will receive their locker number, class schedule, take school pictures and receive their ID. They can also purchase a yearbook, homecoming shirt, and parking permit.

Transportation/Bus Stops
Bus routes for the 2024-25 school year will be posted to the website in mid-August.
Please refer to the Fraser Public School website (Find my Bus Stop) to see if your child’s bus stop and/or route number has been affected.
Schools of Choice families are responsible for their own transportation.

Free Meals for All Students
All students are eligible to receive free breakfast and lunch during the 2024-25 school year.
We do ask families to still complete the Education Benefits Form, as this helps determine district funding and may help your family qualify for other benefits.

School Age Child Care (SACC)
School Age Child Care (SACC)
Registration for our School-Age Child Care (SACC) program opens August 15 at 6 p.m.
We offer SACC at all six of our elementary buildings.
Spaces are limited. Schedules must be submitted at the time of registration. There is no drop-in service.
