School Messenger Information

  • School Messenger System

Fraser Public Schools is now using a new electronic communication system, called School Messenger, which allows parents to receive district and school communications electronically through voice, email and text messages.

    Email Messages:

Email messages will be sent directly to your computer, alerting you of school closings, special events and other news. There is no need to sign up for this service, the system is connected to our Power School Student Record System so it uses your contact information within Power School. Please contact your school office to change any contact information needed in Power School and this system will reflect those changes within 24-48 hours of that change taking place.

    Text Messages:

The District uses text message alerts in the event of a school closing or school emergency. Text messages will be sent to parents who opt-in to receiving text messages.  If you wish to opt-out of receiving text messages, please visit the link below and fill in your information to remove your number from the list.  If you wish to opt-in to receiving text messages from FPS, send a text to the short code 68453 with the word "subscribe" in the body of the text.  After sending, you will receive a response text indicating that you have been registered.

If you sent a text to 68453 and did not receive a response that you are registered, you may not have short code messaging enabled on your mobile account. To test, text HELP to 68453.  If you still do not receive a response, please contact your phone provider.

To update your cell phone number, please contact the main office at your school to update your information.
