Fraser Public Schools Elementary Teacher of the Year
Mrs. Tina Frazier, pictured here with Edison Elementary Principal, Dr. Weiss, has been chosed FPS Elementary Teacher of the Year
Mrs Frazier has been a teacher at Edison Elementary for 15 years, with teaching experience in Kindergarten, 3rd, 5th, and 6th. She is the epitome of an innovative and passionate teacher. She constantly raises the bar with not only her instructional practices, but also with the innovation of her lessons and delivery.
The field of education is constantly changing, but Mrs. Frazier continuously exceeds expectations and provides a consistent classroom community that delivers lessons to reach the needs and learning style of her students and an atmosphere where kids want to learn and meet the high expectations she sets.
She is a leader and role model taking on several roles within the building and district, which include building teacher in charge, building steering committee, district/building coordinator for Science and Social Studies Olympiad, safety squad sponsor, running club sponsor, District ELA committee, and State Social Studies Committee. Mrs. Frazier is self-reflective and an excellent mentor to any teacher new or veteran to the field. She is extremely hard-working, helpful, and a humble colleague that we are fortunate to have as part of the Edison family and is most-deserving of Fraser's Elementary Teacher of the Year.
