Fraser 4As had a great day at Forgotten Harvest Farm in Fenton. Thirty-one students and three chaperones worked on the farm harvesting jalapeño peppers and potatoes. They also helped clear plastic from the fields to get them ready for future planting. While at the farm, the students picked 1600 pounds of food. Each pound of food is one meal; students helped touch the lives of 1600 people!
To their surprise, students were able to see the barn full of the onions that they planted last May. It was exciting for them to see the crop harvested and ready to be distributed.
