The final Fraser Difference bond project of 2017 kicked off in mid-December. The seats and stage curtains in the Fraser Performing Arts Center at Fraser High School will be replaced.
“We’ve updated the lighting, the sound system and other projects with previous bonds,” said Operations and Maintenance Director Dan Waters. “The seats and stage curtains are the last pieces that need to be replaced.”
The plans for the FPAC have been in place, but work had to wait until all of the winter concerts were completed.
“By the time everyone comes back for spring concerts, all of the seats will be brand new,” Waters said. “It’s going to look amazing.”
In addition to replacing the seats, the row directly to the left and right of the soundboard will be redesigned to accommodate guests in wheelchairs.
