Mrs. Schmidt, was honored as Fraser's Elementary Teacher of the Year at the Macomb County Outstanding Teachers of the Year Banquet!

Mrs. Schmidt is an educator who brings a level of energy to her students that is unparalleled. She carefully designs innovative, engaging lessons for her students and has an uncanny ability to relate new learning to her students’ lives.

She also brings a level of encouragement and support to her colleagues that inspires us all to continue to improve our craft. She has a hand in just about everything that we do here, as a 5th grade teacher, a student council sponsor, school improvement chairperson, and a Teacher In Charge.

Her presence truly makes Edison a better, happier place for students and staff. Congratulations Mrs. Schmidt!
