Objective 2.2 Strengthen proactive threat assessment and emergency response.
2.2.1 Expand and strengthen multidisciplinary threat assessment teams and processes.
Conduct ongoing Threat Assessment and Suicide Risk Assessment Training.
Provide regular training for staff and students on safety protocols, including athletic and extracurricular events.
2.2.2 Evaluate athletic and extra-curricular protocols and facilities, identify weaknesses and areas to improve.
Evaluate physical areas, entry points and procedures for improvement.
Consider additional student ID card scanning and review requirements for attendance at Athletic events.
Create standard announcements to be read before athletics and extracurricular activities.
Review evacuation routes and maps and adjust as needed.
Objective 2.3 Promote a culture of safety and preparedness.
2.3.1 Engage and educate families and community partners in safety planning and understanding of physical and psychological safety measures within the district.

2.3.2 Continue to foster relationships with law enforcement among all municipalities
Review involvement of Security and Operations departments with local law enforcement.
Continue to integrate the Director of Security and School Resource Officer into school logistics.
2.3.3 Strengthen schoolwide student supervision and behavioral support
Review/designate staff leadership for student supervision throughout the schools (before/after school, lunch, recess, etc).
Continue to integrate behavioral consultants to support all elementary buildings.
