June 2018 OTF
This is the final newsletter of the year! Inside this issue we celebrate the Class of 2018, as well as the participants from Science Olympiad, Social Studies Olympiad, Destination Imagination and History Day. We say farewell to Dr. Richards, who will retire at the end of the month. Finally, we wrap up the spring varsity sports.
May 2018 OTF
After an extensive search, Ms. Carrie Wozniak is named the next superintendent of Fraser Public Schools, plus an exciting program will launch at Fraser High School this fall that will revoluntionize our CTE programs, find out what it means for our students. Plus we recognize our Teachers of the Year, District K-12 Art Show winners and our district's music programs.
April 2018 OTF
The Board of Education recently awarded more than $8 million in bond projects and we recap the major projects planned for this summer. Plus we have highlights from Science Olympiad, History Day, and our FHS winter sport summaries.
March 2018 OTF
In this newsletter we recap the steps we have taken for school and student security and what we are working on going forward. Plus did you know February was CTE month? Page 3 is dedicated to some of the latest achievements of our CTE students and programs.
January 2018 OTF
January is Board Appreciation Month, find out how we honored our seven members. Is your child changing buildings in the fall? Want to show a friend what Fraser is all about? It's open house season, check out page 2 for the details on all of our events! Plus we have the results from Solo and Ensemble, Scholastics, BPA and HOSA.
December 2017 OTF
It's the final newsletter of 2017. Through the help of our Fraser Family, we were able to bring joy to many children in our district and community with the giving tree and Dominic's Christmas Wish. We also have a wrap up of our fall varsity sports.
November 2017 OTF
Did you know the Michigan Department of Education is looking at Fraser as a model district? We were honored to host State Superintendent Brian Whiston, followed by a Fraser team meeting with State Board members in Lansing. They were interested in our competency-based education model and how it's working in our district. Plus the Fraser Education Foundation awarded their teacher mini-grants this year, find out what innovative projects were funded.
October 2017 OTF
Our amazing Peer-to-Peer program is featured in an upcoming national publication. Students and staff provided a hands-on demonstration at a recent Board of Education meeting. Plus we have a recap of the Eureka Math Parent Night as well as resources for at-home activities.
September 2017 OTF
The first month of school is under our belts! In this issue we kick off a series on how Fraser is personalizing learning and the positive impact that's having on every student. Plus we have a recap of our district's M-STEP results, and introductions of our two new administrators - Special Education Director Mrs. Lynn Sossi and Mark Twain Elementary Principal Mrs. Laura Woods.

It's back to school time! Inside this issue you'll find the orientation information for Richards Middle School and Fraser High School, as well as Kindergarten Meet the Teacher dates and times.
