Middle School certainly is an adventure for both parents and students. We know this therefore we have put in to place a variety of tools in which both parents and students can access. Parents are encouraged to attend our monthly SPO meetings, contact counselors, and request meetings with teams to ensure that their child’s needs are being met. Students are encouraged to be part of various sports teams, clubs, and after school academic help. Richards Middle School is fortunate to offer our students a true middle school experience. Teachers are arranged in teams in which they will share the same students. The teachers are able to meet together on a daily basis to discuss academic content, student successes and struggles, and plan for various team activities. The common planning time also allows time for teachers to meet with their students parents to discuss the progress of their child if needed. It is my sincere hope that all parties involved have an enjoyable experience at Richards.
