A Note from Our Principal

Welcome to the Thomas Edison Elementary School’s website. My name is Dr. Kristi Weiss. I am starting my 14th year at Edison and am thrilled to be here!  The staff and I are so happy to be working with you and your children this year.

It promises to be another great year especially since our students will not only be using IPads in school but will be getting their own (3rd - 6th) to use at home. (The district webpage has more information about the IPad deployment procedures and policies).

Please visit our website often to find out what is happening at our school. I would encourage all parents to become involved in their child's education by attending PTO meetings, helping out in the classroom, checking your child's homework or book bag nightly, signing the daily agenda books, and reading to your child each and every day! Whatever part you play is crucial to the success of your child's education.
